1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Cuadrao (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cuadrao. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Scope of the App

Cuadrao is a bill-splitting tool designed to assist users in estimating how group expenses may be divided. Features may include:

• Quick splits
• Itemized splits
• Receipt scanning (OCR-assisted)

Cuadrao is a tool only and does not make financial decisions for users.

4. Service Disclaimer (“As-Is”)

Cuadrao is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of calculations
• Accuracy of OCR (receipt scanning)
• Correct assignment of items or totals
• Accuracy of taxes or tips

You are solely responsible for verifying all amounts before making any payment decisions.

5. Social & Group Payment Disclaimer

Cuadrao does not:

• Determine who owes what
• Enforce payments between users
• Mediate disputes

All agreements between users are made at their own risk. Cuadrao is not responsible for disagreements, unpaid balances, or disputes.

6. Payment Disclaimer (ATH Móvil & Third Parties)

Cuadrao may help initiate or redirect to external payment services such as ATH Móvil.

However:

• Cuadrao does not process payments
• Cuadrao does not hold or transfer funds
• Cuadrao is not a financial institution

We are not responsible for:

• Failed or delayed transactions
• Payment errors
• Account issues
• Disputes with third-party services

7. Ads & Monetization

Cuadrao may display advertisements.

By using the App, you agree that:

• Ads may appear during use
• Some features may require watching ads
• Interaction with ads is at your own risk

We are not responsible for third-party advertising content.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the App
• Attempt to disrupt or hack the service
• Use the App for illegal activities

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and software in Cuadrao are owned by Cuadrao.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer the App

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, for any reason.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Cuadrao shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of money, profits, or data
• Errors in calculations or splits

Total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid (if any), whichever is lower.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cuadrao from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your interactions with other users
• Your violation of these Terms

13. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the App will be:

• Error-free
• Uninterrupted
• Always available

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico.

Any disputes shall be handled in courts with jurisdiction in Puerto Rico, unless otherwise required by law.

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL

1. Aceptación de Términos

Al descargar, acceder o usar Cuadrao (“la App”), aceptas estos Términos de Uso. Si no estás de acuerdo, no debes usar la App.

2. Elegibilidad

Debes tener al menos 13 años para usar Cuadrao. Si eres menor de 18, necesitas permiso de un padre o tutor legal.

3. Alcance de la App

Cuadrao es una herramienta para dividir cuentas y estimar cómo se reparten gastos en grupo. Puede incluir:

• Divisiones rápidas
• Divisiones por artículos
• Escaneo de recibos (OCR)

Cuadrao es solo una herramienta y no toma decisiones financieras por el usuario.

4. Descargo de Responsabilidad (“Tal Cual”)

Cuadrao se ofrece “tal cual” y “según disponible”, sin garantías.

No garantizamos:

• Exactitud de cálculos
• Exactitud del OCR
• Asignación correcta de artículos
• Cálculo correcto de IVU o propinas

Eres responsable de verificar todo antes de pagar.

5. Descargo de Responsabilidad Social

Cuadrao no:

• Decide quién paga
• Obliga pagos
• Media disputas

Cualquier acuerdo entre usuarios es bajo su propio riesgo. Cuadrao no es responsable por conflictos o deudas.

6. Pagos y Servicios de Terceros

Cuadrao puede ayudarte a abrir servicios como ATH Móvil.

Sin embargo:

• No procesamos pagos
• No retenemos dinero
• No somos una institución financiera

No somos responsables por:

• Pagos fallidos
• Retrasos
• Problemas de cuenta
• Disputas externas

7. Anuncios

La App puede mostrar anuncios.

Aceptas que:

• Habrá anuncios dentro de la app
• Algunas funciones pueden requerir ver anuncios

No somos responsables por contenido de terceros.

8. Uso Aceptable

Aceptas no:

• Usar la app indebidamente
• Interferir con el servicio
• Usarla para actividades ilegales

9. Propiedad Intelectual

Todo el contenido y software pertenece a Cuadrao.

No puedes:

• Copiar o distribuir
• Hacer ingeniería inversa

10. Terminación

Podemos suspender o cancelar tu acceso en cualquier momento sin aviso.

11. Limitación de Responsabilidad

En la máxima medida permitida por ley:

Cuadrao no será responsable por:

• Daños indirectos
• Pérdidas económicas
• Errores en cálculos

La responsabilidad máxima será $100 USD o lo que hayas pagado (si aplica).

12. Indemnización

Aceptas proteger a Cuadrao de cualquier reclamo por:

• Uso de la app
• Interacciones con otros usuarios
• Violación de estos términos

13. Disponibilidad del Servicio

No garantizamos que la app estará siempre disponible o sin errores.

14. Cambios

Podemos actualizar estos términos en cualquier momento.

15. Ley Aplicable

Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de Puerto Rico.
